It won’t be long before the snow starts to melt, the Christmas carols go away, and the birds start chirping. Before you know it, spring will be here. And with the springtime comes warm temperatures, fresh air, and hot new fashions. Check out some of these fashion trends you’ll be seeing this spring.
1. Biker chick. Yes, the biker chick is in style, but with a twist. The softness of lace mixes with a bracelet cuff. This year’s biker chick is all about toughness, while still looking feminine. Add big pieces of jewelry and leather to your outfit to pull this look off.
2. Sheer dress. But not too sheer. You’ll see sheer clothing on the runways for Spring 2011. You’ll see this trend mostly in tops and dresses. You can expect to see your favorite maxi dress in sheer fabrics.
3. Lace. Lots of pretty lace. Lace makes a big comeback this season. You’ll see lace in everything from dress to shirts to shoes to handbags.
4. The return of the 60s. More specifically, the lady from the 60s. Looks inspired by the likes of Jackie O. will grace stores in the spring. You’ll find structured dresses and pretty hats to add to your wardrobe.
5. Tassels. It’s all in the small details. Tassels on your purse or shoes will make a big statement without going over the top. You can also wear tassels as earrings.
