The International scene seems to be concentrating on almost nude colors that radiate sensuality. Skin tones are illuminated by these nude colors, particularly a dusty rose, creating an iridescent glow. Minimalist looks with clean lines are worked into this neutral palette with metallic added in with a variety of textures and sheens. Gold, silver, copper and bronze can be found shimmering on leather and silk, and combined with sequins and shine, also appears in textured fabrics. The suit returns more as a leisure suit with relaxed trousers and jackets for causal dressing.

Denim reappears as a staple in fashion and shows itself as faded, ripped and distressed in fitted dresses, sexy jumpsuits, shorts with high waists, tiered skirts and blazers and hats. It is also shown as skinny jeans covered with chains and studs, chambray shirts in the western style and denim rompers.

Dresses and minis are also adorned with an array of feathers in a variety of colors and textures that add drama and delight for spring.

One of the biggest trends is lingerie as outerwear in sheer fabrics and lace. Most of these fashions are not only made of lace but silky and sheer chiffon and satin in colors of black, nude or soft pastels and makes for a daring and sensuous look.

Computerized images of contemporary art, photography, the works of Jackson Pollack and Darwin’s theory of evolution comprise digital prints that bring a futuristic element to the fashion scene. A wide variety of fabrics, including silk, chiffon, latex and tulle fabrics are the basis for images of various patterns of geometric designs and op-art to create a futuristic technological edge to the styles of the season.
